Abstract
The Top Ten Scholars program at Boise State University intends to promote and cultivate a successful model graduate. It is a rigorous and competitive process to be selected as a Top Ten Scholar. The candidates are selected based on a wide area of involvement during their college experience, such as research assistantships and internships, honors and awards, notable academic experience, and co-curricular activities such as student government, leadership and community service involvement. The Top Ten Scholars include international students, student athletes, prestigious scholarship recipients, innovative researchers and student club leaders. Many of them are currently in different sectors of our society such as CEO and president. They are making an impact as remarkable Leaders. This research study investigates how an exceptional graduating scholar makes an impact in their community. The purpose of this study is to access the community impact of Boise State University's Top Ten Scholars alumni. This research is a work in progress. We are currently awaiting IRB approval to survey student alumni.
