Abstract
At the company I work for, Taffy Town, Inc. We do not have a historian that keeps track, organizes, and digitizes our history. As a fourth-generation family member of a 106-year-old business, I wanted to be that person, as I find historical documents, pictures, and video of my family intriguing and inspiring that can be shared to the world. Documenting and preserving family business history at Taffy Town, Inc. I will be scanning, organizing, and labeling many artifacts as this process goes on, with a small photo studio setup at our company. Once finished, an actionable presentation based on files stored onto the company’s database server will be given to the rest of my family of stakeholders. The history will be as one source put it: “to effectively promote our services and products through historical narratives, retro-design or by re-launching iconic models.”(Cailluet, 2017).
