Submission Guidelines for 2022 Graduate Student Showcase
Who Can Submit
The 2022 Graduate Student Showcase collection only publishes final student presentation materials presented at Boise State's annual Graduate Student Showcase. The creation of an abstract record and the inclusion of any materials must be approved by the faculty members on the project. Before you Submit!
Double check the following:- Final presentation title is reflected on any documents to be submitted
- Permission from faculty to submit information and materials to the repository
- Abstract (100 word maximum)
- Keywords reflect the main subject matter of your presentation
- Funding information regarding your project, if any
How to Submit Documents
Posters
All posters must be saved as a pdf file. Any images within the poster content must have alternative text applied to them (alt text).
Papers
Make sure your document(s) are in an acceptable format. We can accept papers in Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format (RTF), or Adobe Acrobat (PDF - preferred).
If you use a word-processing program other than Microsoft Word, look for an "Export" or "Save as" option in the program you are using and save the document as an RTF file. If you have questions, please contact ScholarWorks@boisestate.edu

Slide Decks
All primary images on your slides should have alternative text applied to them (alt text).
Save your slide deck as a PDF
Videos
Submit a video by emailing it to Scholarworks@boisestate.edu. Include in your message which collection this is for and the title of the submitted project it is connected to. Video files must be in an *.MP4 format. If a file is too large, please provide a download link (ex. Google drive or Dropbox).
In addition, a caption file is also needed and must be in *.SRT file format. For more information contact Scholarworks@boisestate.edu.
The Submission Process
Please read the submission form carefully.
After you submit your information and documents, you will receive a confirmation message that your submission form went through. This message will contain a revision link if you find you need to adjust anything. Once received your submission will be reviewed for any issues, and you will be notified by e-mail if any adjustments need to be made.
You will also receive an email message once your work is officially posted.
After Posting
If you have any questions or would like to post a revised version of your materials on the site after the record has been officially posted, please contact Scholarworks@boisestate.edu
