Abstract
Examines the issues faced by new team members who are hired or promoted into management positions, with an emphasis on the segment of Sodexo college campus dining hospitality. Investigates the issues related to poor employee morale, deficiencies in performance, and lack of overall job knowledge upon being thrust into a leadership position. Provides solutions to current inadequacies based on recent experiences, manager and peer feedback, and turnover data to create a more productive program for new managers and company stakeholders.
