Abstract

The focus of this report is maintained on testimonials, with quantitative data to support. By drawing attention towards the observable changes along the Boise River over time and analyzing data collected by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality over the past twenty years this study further supports the testimonials from the various interviewees. Interviewees include individuals who have lived on the Boise River or dealt with it in their business for a time period in excess of twenty years. The findings approve the coinciding data in efforts to prove the hypothesis to be true: the Boise River has changed over time and is now potentially dangerous for certain fauna of which it could effect. Analysis of safe environments for said fauna is also included to provide a background on qualifications necessary for wildlife dependent on specific factors in their environment.
