Abstract
TinyScheme is a good choice for an embedded Scheme interpreter due to its small size and completeness. This paper describes work done to improve TinyScheme. The work is divided into two parts. The first deals with adding debug features like breakpoints, stack traces and program stepping. The second attacks the performance of TinyScheme's garbage collector by experimenting with various algorithms.
