The Raptor Research Center (RRC) at Boise State University is a student-centered research community focused on research and conservation of birds of prey and their environment. The RRC’s work spans many aspects of raptor biology—from nesting ecology and habitat use, to functional and comparative genomic studies, to the effects of environmental change on population and community dynamics. The RRC’s research addresses both foundational ecological questions and applied conservation problems. The geographic focus ranges from local ecosystems, including the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area, to regional and international study sites.
