Abstract
Live cases and internships appear to have high trainer approval ratings, based on a survey of corporate trainers. About 200 corporate trainers rated 20 training methods, using seven measures of training effectiveness. Live cases and internships were rated the highest overall based on measures such as knowledge acquisition, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Training methods with less student/teacher interaction, such as television lectures, were rated low with such measures.
