Abstract
Ever wonder what went on in the early Treasure Valley libraries? What were their popular books, what types of outreach services did they provide, and what were the librarians and library staff like? This session will look at the histories of the public, academic, and special libraries in the Treasure Valley, as well of some the people who worked in them. By looking back at what has enabled these libraries to endure and stand the test of time, we will have a better picture of what the future of these libraries might look like.
