Abstract
A visitor to Antje Rávic Strubel's website finds the following quote: „Schreiben Bedeuter, sich das eigene Denken anzusehen. Um dann Sätze zu bilden. Und zu zweifeln. Und mit den Zweifeln Sätze zu bilden. Und zu hoffen, dass die Sätze tragen.“ This quote refers to the repeated ambiguities that Strubel uses in her work to disrupt social order, shake up social expectations of behavior, and create uncertainties in perception. Therefore, she has been called „eine Meisterin der Verunsicherung“2.
