Abstract
One way of approaching the problem of bacteria resisting on antibiotics is to disrupt their quorum sensing, the communication that allows bacteria to share information about cell density and adjust gene expression, and limit acyl-homoserine lactone (AHL) molecules to transmit to other bacteria. AHL synthase molecules are the signaling molecules that are one of the products that are formed when S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) and Acyl-Carrier Protein (ACP) binds to an I-protein, which is the signal initiator protein.
