Abstract
The multidrug resistant pathogenic yeast Candida auris has caused significant global concern since its discovery in 2009. Limited publications detailing C. auris growth and morphology makes the categorization of isolates difficult. Thus, there is an urgent need to define its growth. Twenty clinical isolates from the CDC were grown in defined and complex media at varying temperatures. Using brightfield microscopy, isolates were categorized into four groups by their ability aggregate and floculate, two distinct morphological characteristics.
