Abstract
Bullying is recognized as a significant problem for youth, with approximately 1 in 5 students between the ages of 12-18 reporting being bullied. High school students, however, indicate they are hesitant to report bullying to teachers, with approximately 75% of students indicating they do not report school bullying. Training teachers to be aware of the negative impact associated with bullying and ways to respond to students’ reports of bullying may be an important component of anti-bullying prevention and intervention. This study evaluated the appropriateness and relevance of an anti-bullying teacher training developed to support high school students who report bullying.
