Abstract
My goal is to produce a sculpture incorporating video and web technology that acts as an inherent invasion of privacy, yet is still desirable enough to inspire acquisitiveness. The purpose of this is to challenge viewers about their own consumer activities because we are happy to keep using phones and email and all the other conveniences of contemporary life despite evidence that government organizations are able to access data about us. This sculpture will take the form of a common household object equipped with cameras that broadcast onto the internet.
