Abstract

The relationship between sender and receiver in a communicative relationship is essential on a interpretative because it is this strength or weakness of relationship the ultimately defines meaning, or sharing of purpose between human beings. Listening is the link that binds as the process by which interpretation comes to define an interaction between human beings on an array of levels. Through the analysis of self and its relation to listening as a component of the bond between the internal and external understanding of self, as well as interpretation of being based on a selected assortment of facets of the cognitive process, we will navigate hermeneutics through the listening perspective.
