About the Presenter
Marilyn K. Moody has been the Dean of the University Library since 2006. Her responsibilities include providing leadership for all aspects of library services and collections for Boise State University. At Boise State University, she has led the transformation of the Library as it has taken on a new role as a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction Library. She has also been responsible for the Library's implementation of the campus strategic plan, Charting the Course. Ms. Moody’s current interests include scholarly communication issues and the development of research distribution policies and strategies. She is the co-author with Jean L. Sears of three editions of the reference work Using Government Information Sources. She has also authored articles and book chapters and given presentations on a range of topics including government information, distance learning, and the impact of technology on libraries.
