About the Presenter
Rand Spiwak is the recently retired executive vice president and chief financial officer at Daytona State College (FL), where he served as a senior member of the college’s management team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the college. Rand has more than 40 year’s administrative experience in higher education, including teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Most recently, he has led the college’s e-Text Project, which will significantly reduce student textbook costs by replacing traditional textbooks with digital content including e-textbooks and open content. Rand holds a doctorate of education from the University of Florida, and an M.B.A. and B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Stetson University.
