Abstract

Skin health is often overlooked as an important aspect of health. However, the skin is the body’s primary protective barrier, safeguarding our internal system from external harm. Our research question is: How do lifestyle factors and public policies influence skin health and access to dermatological care? Our research will explore the impact of social and lifestyle factors such as income, sleep, and stress on overall skin health. We will examine policies in place to help gain better access to care for our skin. We aim to bring more awareness to the important role skin plays in overall health and wellness.
