Abstract
Metamaterials are engineered materials with unique properties not found in nature, designed to manipulate electromagnetic waves in novel ways. These materials have garnered significant attention for their potential applications in energy harvesting, storage, and transmission. By controlling light, sound, and heat, metamaterials offer new possibilities for enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.
The purpose of this poster is to provide the reader background information regarding meta-materials including low level fabrication, their uses in industry, and some current research that is being performed using meta-materials to advance energy.
