Abstract

This thesis is a collection of poems exploring themes of food, place, and intimacy. The poems’ structures aim to act as spaces where combinations of heterogenous content and tones of voice can meld and recast one another, specifically through repeated usage of the couplet and double-spaced stichic forms. Throughout, this project is interested in investigating multiplicity, hierarchies of attention, and the meeting of familiar and formal language.
