Data Attributes

Irradiation conducted at Michigan Ion Beam Laboratory (MIBL). Dose rate = 1.2 x 10^(-5) dpa/s. Atom probe tomography (APT) needles were fabricated using an FEI Quanta 3D FEG focused ion beam (FIB). Sample wedges ~2 μ wide and ~3 μ deep were cut and lifted in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the material. The wedges were subsequently mounted onto silicon posts and partitioned, resulting in 6-8 APT tips per specimen. The tips were then milled using annular ring patterns to shape them into needles with a tip radius = 50 nm Each needle was sharpened such that the tip of the needle was positioned just below the irradiated bulk surface. Each needle was analyzed with a Cameca LEAP 4000X HR at CAES, operated in laser pulsed mode with samples held at 40 K. Laser power ranged from 40-100 pJ, with a pulse repetition rate of 200 kHz.

Time Period

LEAP analysis conducted between 20141211-20141212
