About the Presenter

Melinda Keckler manages the planning, implementation and evaluation of marketing tactics at Boise State including social media initiatives to support the university brand. She serves as administrator for Boise State's official presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the "B Social" networking directory; she produces videos for the Boise State YouTube channel and oversees programming and facilitation for the monthly meetings of the Marketing Minds working group, which is made up of more than 60 Boise State employees. Melinda has a BA in Communications from Washington State University. Prior to coming to Boise State she was the strategic communications manager at a Boise public relations firm, public information officer for a state agency and for 15 years was a broadcast journalist at television stations across the northwest.
