Abstract

I chose to focus my capstone project around agriculture, as it is something that is close to my heart, and a topic I knew would reach many different people. Throughout my college career I have centered every assignment possible around farming. In doing this, I have learned that my fellow classmates had no idea how their food got to the grocery store and how it was made. This was a great opportunity to capitalize on the importance of educating young adults on decoding grocery store labels, what farmers do when raising different crops or animals, and how to make the best decisions for themselves.
