Abstract

Communication 363 is the advanced journalistic writing course in the department, and includes a service-learning requirement so that students can learn about a community and produce at least one story from their service-learning experience. The goal is to help students understand the public service obligation of journalists. The videos here were created by students working with the International Rescue Committee and Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS).
