Artist Statement

I haven’t watched all of One Piece, or even started from the very beginning. I’ve seen episodes while my partner is watching the show, and even with my limited exposure, I’ve found the story of Brook and Laboon enchanting, tragic and memorable. This mug was painted as a gift to my partner, and represents our sincere desire to see Brook and Laboon reunited.
