Abstract

Having students reflect about their learning can help foster a deeper understanding and metacognition. It is an important part of learning and can help students develop and utilize their different learning styles. This project’s goal is to evaluate if students can use the knowledge of how they learn and the process of thinking about their learning process to improve their performance on a science unit. The conclusions drawn from this data will help determine the effectiveness of students’ self reflection in their learning ability and performance.
