Black Creek Reservoir Outdoor Classroom
Abstract
We intend to write a proposal to Boise State University about the creation of an outdoor classroom in conjunction with the Blacks Creek Reservoir. The objective of the outdoor classroom would bring BSU students in to a position to interact with area high school Environmental Studies classes. This report investigates: cost associated with creating a class, Intended educational objectives (sample syllabus), to provide comparative analysis with similar area programs and possible service learning opportunities for BSU students. The overall purpose of the classroom is to educate students and give hands on experience in the learning of local area ecology.
