Artist Statement
The Elementals are a series of creatures who inhabit a world grander and much older than our own. Each one savagely adapted to its environment. This installation invites the audience into this larger, but still familiar universe. Through scale and careful detail I aim to suspend each viewer’s belief. Feeling small in the face of “The Grand Guards” yet colossal when peering over each city and coastline.
