Abstract
Service Project Purpose: To design a backpack holder for Joe, who is in a wheelchair, that will bring his backpack from behind him to his side which will allow him to access it with more ease and help him keep from losing his items. Learning goals: To be able to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills during the engineering problem design process to help identify, analyze, and solve a real world problem that also benefits the community.
