Enhanced Transmission in Plasmonic Crystals: Interactions of Cavity Resonance and Surface Mode
Transmission of periodically modified Ag film is studied experimentally and numerically. Both cavity resonance and guided surface modes are identified as the sources of enhanced optical transmissions. Their interactions lead to anti-crossing behavior spectrally.
