Description
The presentation will discuss the reasons behind my interest in mobile technology used in a health science program. I will talk about how the device was integrated into our Respiratory Care program and clinical facilities. We will look at the applications the students found most beneficial and some of the strategies used to engage the students with the device.

About the Presenter
Lutana Haan received her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from BSU in1996. For 7 years, She focused her area of interest is sleep disorders medicine in pediatric through adult patients. In 2003, she began teaching in the Respiratory Care program at BSU. She received a Masters of Health Science in 2009. She has been teaching in the classroom and online for the past 8 years. Her interests in mobile devices came from wanting to continue to try to make the most out of the clinical experiences students have.
