Abstract
Idaho Scholar Talks: “All the World’s A Stage Direction: Shakespeare’s First Folio for Actors” by Professor Gordon Reinhart (Boise State University) at the Yanke Research Family Park. Professor Reinhardt works with a group of Boise State actors to compare modern editions of Shakespeare’s plays side-by-side with the First Folio. The demonstration explores how spelling, capitalization, italics, and other aspects–while potentially odd to the reader’s eye–actually offer clues and hints to the actor. Includes Q&A with the audience.
