Artist Statement
There is a time in everyone's life when they are “What are you going to do with your life?” There are those that have a plan, those who will have one, and others that have no idea what so ever. The time in which we are figuring things out aren’t always in extreme life changing scenarios, mostly it’s during those in between moments. In those increments of time in which everyday activities are being performed, that is when decisions are made and brilliant thought are created. The in between space may be when we are brushing our teeth or getting coffee. Every person has a relationship to the mundane rituals of their modern day society. Life can be really boring, it’s filled with boring things and dull activities that we repeat over and over a. Repetition can be embraced and can stimulate best ideas and thoughts. We are all in the in between spaces, just waiting for that one fantastic idea.
